The US company Boveda has revolutionized the climate management of musical instruments. While commercially available systems only enrich the humidity, Boveda goes one step further with its 2-way system and automatically removes moisture from the air if it is too saturated. This enables Boveda to independently and permanently correct the climate in the instrument case to the optimum level.

• No maintenance for months! Initially, Boveda has some catch-up to do, so your first Boveda won't last as long as subsequent ones. After the first set, Boveda will last 2-6 months, depending on the season, climate and case. Replace it when it is stiff.

How to use Boveda in your instrument case:

1. Remove the plastic packaging from Boveda. (Do not open the Boveda itself.)
2. Place the unpacked Boveda in the pocket of the leak-proof fabric holder/protective cover. The Boveda protective cover is soft, like a polishing cloth.
3. Place it in the case and close the lid. Always keep your case closed when using Boveda.

Caution: Always place Boveda in a pouch of a Boveda cloth holder before placing it in the instrument case. Do not mix different Boveda humidity levels in the same instrument case. And do not use Boveda with other humidification products as they will compete with each other and reduce the efficiency of Boveda.
