The SVC210 cello is designed for easy transportation and therefore has a slim design with foldable leg rests. Despite its practicality, it offers the full, beautiful characteristic cello sound and has great expressiveness.

Excellent sound and elegant appearance

The SVC210 has a hollow body with a newly developed pickup for an amazingly natural, acoustic-like cello sound. A narrow opening under the top enhances the acoustic warmth of the instrument. A new lacquer finish enhances the beauty of the wood and matches the appearance of the instrument to its superior sound. The uniqueness of the Silent Cello lies in its ability to produce a naturally full-bodied, nuanced tone in a rich, simulated concert hall acoustic environment without the need for external signal processing. An original Yamaha chip delivers an extremely natural, warm reverb in three variations: Large Reverb, Medium Reverb and Room.

Connectivity and Play Along function

In addition to its many other features, the Yamaha Silent Cello has an aux input as well as line and headphone outputs. Connect an external sound source to the aux input to play along with a recording and/or connect the line output to an external sound system for live performances. The headphone jack supports quiet practicing with the reverb effects.

Compact shape

The E-Cello SVC210 has foldable legs and removable chest and arm rests. This means it can be dismantled and fits into a compact carry bag for easy transportation. It is quick and easy to set up and offers the player natural comfort and excellent support.
