The latest generation Silent Brass from Yamaha offers more playing pleasure anytime, anywhere.

The current Silent Brass system consists of a smaller, lighter mute with almost natural blowing resistance and the Personal Studio, which features Yamaha's exclusive Brass Resonance Modeling technology. These two components together reproduce the natural sound of the instrument as if it were played without mutes.

The remarkably light and compact Silent Brass mute system reduces the sound in an impressive way. The intonation remains stable in all registers. The playing feel is excellent due to the optimal air flow and almost natural blowing resistance.

Specially designed mini microphone

In order to take full advantage of the optimized Brass Resonance Modeling technology, the performance and mounting position of the microphone and the shape of the mute have been optimized. 

Special feature

The adjustable rod allows the position of the mute head within the bell to be raised or lowered while playing. This gives you the ability to customize the feel and intonation to fit your own instrument. In addition, this allows the mute to be used for a wide range of different bell sizes.
