With the introduction of the SC shape, Martin has once again turned the guitar world on its head. The completely new Sure Align neck joint, combined with an enormously comfortable neck profile, enables easy playing up to the highest registers, which was previously only conceivable on electric guitars. The asymmetrical body with its unprecedented bracing is characterized by a powerful sound with unamplified playing and low susceptibility to feedback at high stage volumes.

While the previous SC models stood out with their playful design details, this instrument is absolutely simple. The all-round Sapele body has a satin finish and the sound hole is adorned with a simple, light-colored wood chip. The single-layer binding also contributes to the understatement. The Richlite fingerboard is decorated with simple mother-of-pearl fret markers and the headstock has a rosewood look.
