The Folklora soprano recorder is a special recorder for all those who want to play together with Bb-tuned instruments. A whole tone lower than the normal soprano recorder, this recorder sounds much darker and more powerful in B flat. It is at home in Swiss folk music, but is also often played by professionals who appreciate its very special sound. This instrument is not suitable for pupils who want to learn to play the recorder, as it is tuned differently to the usual recorders. But for professionals, it may well be an interesting addition to the normal soprano recorder.
