Evans Heavyweight Dry 14" (35.56 cm) coated white for: snare drum

Like the original Heavyweights, the Heavyweight Dry snare drumheads have excellent durability and a compressed attack, but are additionally coated with a UV coating to increase durability even further. The precision-drilled dry vents reduce overtones and dampen sustain. Two layers of 10-mil film make Heavyweight Dry heads especially durable, and a 3-mil reverse dot provides additional durability and focus in the center of the head. Overall, Heavyweight Dry coated drumheads offer a moderate attack, short sustain and medium tonal character while eliminating unwanted overtones, making them great for the hardest hits in the rock and metal genre.
