D-grand piano Kawai Model: NOVUS NV12 black polished

The Novus NV12 is the latest model in the Novus range and the successor to the award-winning NV10S hybrid piano. The 2025 model combines a larger, concert grand piano-inspired cabinet with a revolutionary sound system, but retains the proven Millennium III hybrid keyboard and true damper mechanism.

Optically, the NV12 impresses with a deep, gently curved cabinet with a three-stage hinged lid, which improves sound projection and aesthetics. The center support still features polished silver pedal rods, but now openly designed for a more airy appearance. New is a genuine concert grand piano music stand that can be flexibly adjusted in angle and position or removed altogether.

At the center is the new PentaDrive soundboard system: five carefully placed transducers transfer energy directly to a large wooden soundboard. This creates a rich, full-bodied sound that replicates the projection of an acoustic grand piano.

Like the NV6, the NV12 benefits from digital enhancements from the CA901 digital piano, including the new SK-EX Competition Grand piano sound for clear, brilliant tones, complemented by the warm SK-EX Concert Grand. The 5" touchscreen is anti-glare, offers new UI updates and a switch-off option when inactive. Bluetooth MIDI & Audio v5 and a USB-C port with audio interface and power supply round off the modern connectivity.
