Description
Yamaha TransAcoustic piano U1 TA3
If you love the outstanding sound and playing characteristics of an acoustic piano, but also want to benefit from the advantages and sound variety of a digital piano, then the TransAcoustic piano from Yamaha is the right choice. To create a unique instrument, both the digital and acoustic components must be convincing.
The TA3 TransAcoustic system is built into the Yamaha U1 piano in this product. This piano has long been played and appreciated by discerning pianists. It sets the standards by which many other pianos are judged. The sound is extremely clearly defined and is described as bright and present. With this piano, both classical compositions and jazz standards sound beautiful, so you will delight your audience. This piano is also ideal for practicing, as it has a pleasant touch and a clear playing style. This makes playing the piano fun.
By further developing the scale length and improving all elements of sound production, the Yamaha U series instruments produce a fuller tone with a balanced timbre across the entire keyboard. Special rib configurations further strengthen the soundboard, while bracing and other enhancements further improve stiffness, resonance and structural stability. To optimize sound production, response and long-term durability, the materials for the U Series hammerheads were selected individually for each model. To prevent accidents and injuries, as well as to protect the instrument, a lowering mechanism of the keyboard key prevents it from falling suddenly. Thanks to many new developments and Yamaha's many years of experience in upright and grand piano manufacturing, you can be sure that an outstanding piano has been developed.
A digital piano in an acoustic piano
Yamaha's TA3 TransAcoustic system is not just a muting mechanism, as used on many pianos today. With the TA2 TransAcoustic system, digital sounds are transmitted to the soundboard and thus resound from the entire instrument. The sound is much more natural than from a loudspeaker, because the strings vibrate along with the soundboard. This allows you to combine the acoustic piano with other sounds, such as strings, which offers a lot of inspiration and new possibilities.
The advantage of a TransAcoustic piano is that the volume can be controlled. You can practice late at night without disturbing your neighbors or roommates. The sound is then amplified by the soundboard, but the strings are no longer struck. Of course, the piano can also be completely silenced and you can practise in silence with headphones. When playing the piano with headphones, the sound will seem extremely natural and normal. This is because Yamaha has recorded the sound as it would be heard from the player's position. This makes for an extremely natural sound experience and almost makes you forget that you are wearing headphones.
With the additional possibilities that the TransAcoustic TA3 piano offers you, you will get a new playing experience and be inspired again and again, so that you will be driven to sit at the piano and enjoy your music every time.
