The SE Hollowbody II Piezo features a newly developed LR Baggs / PRS piezo system and offers acoustic as well as electric guitar sounds in one instrument. The instrument is equipped with two volume controls (Magnetics and Piezo) and output jacks (Mix/Piezo and Magnetics). This allows the "Mix/Piezo" jack to be connected to mix the 58/15 "S" pickups with the acoustic signal from the piezo using the respective volume controls. Alternatively, players can connect the jacks separately so that the guitar sends the magnetic pickup signal to an amplifier and the piezo signal to an acoustic amplifier or to a mixing console via a DI box.
